What We Collect

Your Kasbny account is created with your name, mobile number, and password. The mobile number is required because it is the identifier you sign in with, recover your account with, and that your wallet activity is attributed to. An email address is optional and you may add it if you wish. We also keep what your use of the app generates: your payments, cashback, withdrawal and top-up requests, and reviews, along with technical device information needed to deliver notifications and protect your account.

How We Use Your Data

We use it to run what you came for: secure sign-in, showing your balance and statement, carrying out payments, cashback, refunds, withdrawals, and top-ups, listing stores and branches, and answering support requests. We also use it to detect fraud and wallet abuse, to protect users' funds, and to send notifications about your account and transactions.

Location

The app asks for location permission to show you nearby stores on the map and to open directions to them, and for nothing else. The permission is optional: if you decline it the app keeps working in full, and the stores and map screens are still shown without pinpointing you. Your location is not used for advertising and is not shared with merchants.

What the Merchant Sees

When you pay at a store, its owner sees what relates to that payment: its amount, its time, the branch it took place at, and your name. Merchants do not receive your mobile number, your email, your wallet balance, or your transactions at other stores. Your review of a store is shown under a shortened name, not your full name.

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell or rent your personal data. It is shared only where necessary with the service providers that run the platform: the payment gateway, the SMS provider, the notifications provider, the hosting provider, and the banks and mobile wallets used to execute withdrawals. It may also be shared with official authorities where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Data Security

Passwords are stored hashed in a form that cannot be read or recovered, traffic between the app and the server is encrypted, and every movement on your balance is recorded in a ledger whose entries are never edited after they are written. No internet-connected service is free of risk, but we work to reduce it and review our controls continuously.

How Long We Keep Data

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. After it is closed your personal data is erased, **while wallet and payment entries remain**, because they are financial records we are required to keep for accounting, tax, and the resolution of any later dispute. Those entries no longer carry your personal data once it has been erased.

Your Rights

You can review your data in the app and correct it, withdraw location or notification permissions from your device settings at any time, and ask support for a copy of your data or for its erasure within the limits the law allows. You can reach us through the support details shown inside the app.

Closing Your Account

You can request to close your account from inside the app. The request is not accepted while your wallet still holds a balance you have not withdrawn, a held amount whose period has not ended, or an active store you manage — **this is for your protection**, since closing before that would mean losing money that is yours or leaving a running business unattended. After closure your personal data is erased and your sign-in is revoked on every device.

Changes to This Policy

We may amend this policy when the service changes or when what the law requires of us changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page, so what you are reading now is the text in force. Continuing to use the app after an amendment means you are aware of the updated version.
